Peter L. Johnson is an artist whose work spans the media of photography, performance art, and printmaking. In addition he has written a novel entitled The Path to the Heart of Art. Currently at work on a series of images called Soul of Our Nature, Peter draws on his varied background as a documentary photographer, solo street performance artist, social activist, and early adopter and advocate of digital photography. While a BA in Economics, graduate study in Art and Photographic History, and a MFA from the University of Minnesota shaped his vision, perhaps the most important influence for his work are his daily walks with his dogs out there in nature.
